Light, medium or dark roasted pure Costa Rican coffee from a single origin farm in the Tarrazu growing region of Costa Rica. Tarrazu plantations are well known for producing great tasting coffee. Coffee is not native to this country, it was brought there from the Caribbean islands long ago. With its vast rain forests and high elevations coffee plants thrived in this new environment. This single origin coffee offers tasting notes which include caramel, dark chocolate and a sweet buttery aftertaste. It is a smooth coffee with a heavy body. Coffee is harvested mountainside at elevations between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. The fully washed and sun dried wooden plank processing is environmentally friendly.
